Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
\n
• Performing comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to track client progress.
\n
• Developing personalized and follow-up treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs.

• Actively participating in the multi-disciplinary treatment team to enhance overall care strategies.

• Providing supervision and mentorship to Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage and Family Therapists, and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients experiencing substance abuse challenges along with co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. You will provide therapeutic support to a diverse clientele, helping them navigate their struggles and develop coping mechanisms. Your ability to foster trust and rapport will be essential to facilitate effective therapy sessions and promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• License: Candidate must possess a current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science: either as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant post-licensure experience in mental health therapy.
\n
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, cultural competency, and the ability to provide individualized care to a wide range of client backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders would be advantageous.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desirable.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes in treating mood disorders would set you apart as an exceptional candidate.
