Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments for clients, identifying mental health challenges and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Provide high-quality counseling and case management services to Black birthing families, focusing on their unique psychological needs during critical life transitions.

• Complete all required clinical documentation in a timely and organized manner, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.

• Participate in ongoing clinical consultation sessions with team members to enhance service delivery and clinical outcomes.

• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all therapeutic interactions, ensuring a safe environment for clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and seeking supervision as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving Black birthing families, an integral population with specific needs regarding mental health support. You will work to provide culturally competent care that recognizes and respects the diverse experiences of these families, enhancing their overall wellness and coping mechanisms during significant life events such as pregnancy and postpartum experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse and multicultural populations, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, showcasing adept organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing therapy and case management to diverse populations, particularly those in maternity or family dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and caseload.
