Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical interviews and assessments to identify the counseling needs of individuals and families, tailoring your approach based on each unique situation.

• Effectively manage psychiatric emergencies and apply diagnostic skills while utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Employ principles of adult psychology to ensure compliance with patient rights, relevant laws, and regulations throughout all clinical interactions.

• Implement established diagnostic criteria to accurately assess client mental health status and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Rapidly analyze crisis situations to determine immediate treatment needs or referrals while safeguarding client confidentiality.
\n
• Evaluate patients to assess their medication needs, including ongoing integration of findings into their treatment plans.
\n
• Facilitate comprehensive intake processes, including gathering patient and family histories, providing crisis intervention, and managing referrals.
\n
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to continuously review case progress, strategize treatment plans, and prepare comprehensive progress reports.
\n
• Design treatment plans targeting emotional disorders, family dynamics, and other mental health issues collaboratively with the client.
\n
• Continuously assess and adapt treatment strategies to align with the evolving needs of clients and their families.
\n
• Maintain consistent, accurate clinical case histories that support ongoing evaluation and reporting of client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors will engage with a diverse range of clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and familial issues. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the unique cultural, social, and individual factors affecting your clients' mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active professional license to practice counseling in the USA.

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure in California as LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
