Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and nuances of their mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to inform treatment decisions.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the particular challenges faced by clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress throughout the therapy process, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including medication management and referrals as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest research and developments related to mood disorders and incorporate this knowledge into client care.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress accurately and confidentially, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, focusing on mood disorders or related areas.

• Proficiency in established evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT, with an ability to apply these in real-world settings.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and its intersection with therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
