This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while offering vital support to clients from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status. Utilize various assessment tools and methodologies, ensuring a thorough understanding of each individual's situation.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Use appropriate therapeutic modalities to address issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, domestic violence, and behavioral health problems.

• Facilitate short-term counseling sessions using techniques that are suitable for each patient's unique needs, focusing on empowering clients to achieve their treatment goals.

• Provide short-term case management services, coordinating care with other professionals and external agencies to enhance patient support.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention and triage when necessary. This includes performing assessments, de-escalating situations, and involving public mental health crisis response teams as required.

• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive follow-up assessment and prevention strategies are in place after any crisis events.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve interacting with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults who experience mental health disorders. You will engage with individuals facing significant psychosocial stressors as well as those navigating recovery from substance abuse. Your ability to connect with clients and provide tailored interventions will directly impact their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science or a related field is required.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is mandatory.
\n
• Proven expertise in providing clinical mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders along with effective treatment strategies for addressing these issues.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license, with access to reliable transportation that meets operational and insurance standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Additional years of experience, ideally three or more, in a clinical mental health setting.

• Experience with age-specific treatment modalities and an understanding of the developmental needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits\n
