Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate mental health assessments to identify clients' concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs.

• Provide a range of therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other approaches tailored to the clients’ goals.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety while coordinating with emergency services when necessary.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress updates, and assessment results, in full compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.

• Educate clients and their families systematically about mental health matters, therapeutic options available, and resources within the community to enhance support networks.

• Pursue ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and continuing education to remain abreast of advancements in mental health therapy and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a varied and dynamic clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse cultural backgrounds and may be seeking assistance for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other mental health conditions. Your ability to connect with and understand the unique experiences of each client will be crucial to fostering their personal growth and recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills supported by theoretical knowledge.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting or similar environment.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills accompanying a compassionate approach to client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in community health settings and familiarity with cultural competency in therapy are preferred. Previous exposure to crisis intervention and working with multidisciplinary teams will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
