Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Manage caseload effectively by coordinating care and collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and community resources.

• Ensure thorough documentation of client interactions and sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards in clinical documentation.

• Foster a nurturing, supportive environment that encourages clients to actively engage in their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The licensed mental health therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. By applying a client-centered approach, you will empathize with their unique experiences and develop effective strategies to assist them in overcoming obstacles.

Qualifications\n

• A valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required; a Master’s degree in a mental health-related discipline is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient setting or private practice is essential.

• Proficiency in various therapeutic models and techniques, with a special emphasis on trauma-informed care.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team and familiarity with contemporary electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered assets. Additionally, specialized training in therapy techniques such as trauma-focused therapy or mindfulness practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year , based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
