Work Environment\n

This remote position requires a commitment to a structured schedule, primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments of children and adolescents to identify emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges.

• Collaborate with children and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect developmental stages and familial circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy, tailored to each child's needs.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in their critical role of supporting their child's mental health journey.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to provide integrated, comprehensive care.

• Prepare and implement crisis intervention strategies to address mental health emergencies involving young patients.

• Educate families about mental health disorders, promoting awareness of treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily focus on children and adolescents dealing with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Your therapeutic approach will be sensitive to the developmental needs of each patient, fostering an environment of trust and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, with a strong emphasis on working with children and adolescents.

• Proficient knowledge of child and adolescent mental health issues, evidence-based practices, and therapeutic modalities.

• Experience in delivering both individual and family therapy tailored to younger demographics.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, characterized by a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families, fostering trust and effective therapeutic relationships.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard computer applications necessary for documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually.
