Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families, establishing a foundation for individualized care.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions that align with the specific needs identified during assessments.
\n
• Ensure timely completion of thorough documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, adhering to administrative protocols.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, and relapse prevention plans to facilitate ongoing stability and wellness for clients.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that outline steps for continued success post-therapy.
\n
• Comply with all current federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and Centerpointe policies to uphold the highest standards of care.

• Participate in ongoing supervision, case consultations, and agency meetings to foster a cohesive team environment.
\n
• Commit to maintaining professional competence through regular training and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Meet all licensure and mandatory training requirements to continue providing exceptional care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients seek support for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship difficulties. By providing culturally relevant and compassionate care, you will help empower individuals to navigate their unique journeys toward improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for state licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Florida is required.

• Previous experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a demonstrated ability to implement them in practice.
