Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments, including mental health status examinations, to determine client needs and inform treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to address various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Provide ongoing therapy through individual and group sessions, consistently utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and cultural humility.

• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care doctors, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring all patient information is confidential and complies with privacy laws.

• Participate in professional development activities and seek supervision when necessary to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a wide range of clients, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our compensation package for this role ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
