Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to evaluate their mental health status, exploring their personal history, and identifying presenting issues.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and culturally responsive methodologies.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to diverse client situations.

• Collaborate with clients to empower them with coping strategies, tools, and resources needed to overcome mental health challenges, while regularly monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment as necessary.

• Provide referrals to additional healthcare professionals when necessary, such as psychiatrists or community resources, to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in team meetings and peer consultations to discuss case management and systemic approaches to mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a varied patient population, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders, among others. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will be expected to deliver culturally competent care that acknowledges individual circumstances and characteristics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Must hold a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working in mental health settings with a track record of delivering effective therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and education.
