Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and initial assessments to determine the needs and objectives of clients.

• Managing case documentation meticulously from initial client intake through the entire course of therapy to ensure comprehensive care and compliance with legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base comprising individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Knowledge of the interplay between mental health and chronic physical health conditions, including addiction treatment.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive and set between USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, with the addition of a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
