Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and history during initial consultations.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific client needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions by providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them develop coping strategies, and fostering accountability in their healing process.

• Create and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) to track client progress, document treatment outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate holistic treatment approaches for clients needing integrated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, trauma, and stress-related conditions. You will be responsible for delivering culturally-sensitive care, emphasizing the importance of understanding each client’s unique background and circumstances to foster an effective therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as one of the following: LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of post-degree clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy settings.

• Strong knowledge of contemporary mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, as well as evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
