Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their mental health status, create accurate diagnoses, and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Implement individualized therapy approaches, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain regular therapeutic sessions, offering support, guidance, and tools that enable clients to navigate and overcome their challenges.

• Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, promoting a deeper understanding of mental health issues and treatment options.

• Be prepared to intervene in crisis situations, employing strong crisis intervention skills to protect patient safety and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking assistance for a range of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will be responsible for creating a safe and confidential environment where clients can express their concerns openly and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid professional licensure in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders and a deep commitment to evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
