Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to gather information on clients’ mental health concerns, formulate accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on achievable goals.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using an array of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring timely assessment and appropriate referrals as necessary.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including detailed treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering to strict ethical and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create a holistic approach to client care that encompasses all facets of mental health.

• Engage in psychoeducation, explaining treatment options, mental health issues, and community resources available to clients and their families.

• Stay current with the latest developments in mental health therapies through ongoing continuing education, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and possess varying degrees of readiness for change, which will require you to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and preferences.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) in New York State.

• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills through relevant training and experience.

• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Pavilion Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
