Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct individual and group counseling services focused on patients with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependence.

• Conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to understand patients’ backgrounds and challenges.
\n
• Collaborating with each patient to establish, facilitate, and review an individualized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs.

• Developing detailed aftercare and discharge plans to support patients in transitioning successfully back into their communities.

• Ensuring the seamless delivery of counseling services, coordinating with other health care providers and support services.
\n
• Addressing any additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly involve supporting individuals struggling with co-occurring disorders and chemical dependency, including adults, children, and families. This diverse client population requires a sensitive and adaptable approach, with each interaction contributing to their recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid license as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or a PsyD in New York State.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, demonstrating your expertise in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
