Sterling Counseling Services is seeking compassionate and qualified Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our remote team in providing vital mental health support to the community of Bakersfield, California. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in offering therapy services to individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse.

Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment while connecting with clients through virtual platforms. You will be collaborating with a closely-knit team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, dedicated to providing coordinated care. Although you will primarily work from home, occasional team meetings may be required to discuss treatment plans and share insights that enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and set measurable goals for therapy outcomes.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailored to each client’s unique situation.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a sense of community and shared experiences among participants.

• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to ensure integrated and holistic care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options while connecting them with community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage actively in case consultations and professional meetings to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
