Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality counseling services that cater to a diverse student group, ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and satisfied with their treatment experience.

• Evaluate client needs through comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual standards.

• Document client interactions comprehensively and accurately, including progress notes, treatment plans, and administrative tasks, while ensuring compliance with established standards.

• Teach clients essential life skills, including activities of daily living, while progressively guiding them toward increased independence and responsibility.

• Monitor clients' emotional states and overall wellbeing, actively engaging in safety protocols and acting as a positive role model in implementing these measures.

• Assist clients with logistical tasks such as meal planning, shopping, and transportation, while teaching them practical skills for self-sufficiency.

• Provide medication management support, including reminders, adherence monitoring, and ensuring safe storage, tailored to client needs as specified in program guidelines.

• Conduct regular assessments of household supplies, ensuring that clients have what they need to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a varied client demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults, each with unique mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California. Note: Associates licenses cannot be accepted due to Medicare billing regulations.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring effective use of technology in client documentation and communication.
