Work Environment\n

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work in a fully remote setting that emphasizes flexibility and work-life balance. Our community health clinic operates with a strong support system that includes both administrative and technical assistance, allowing you to concentrate on client care. You will collaborate with a tight-knit team of mental health professionals and benefit from a structured yet adaptable work schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly therapeutic sessions via live video conferencing to provide personalized support and treatment for adult clients facing various mental health challenges.

• Utilize automated symptom assessments and patient-reported outcomes to monitor clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with other mental health care providers within the facility to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring holistic care for clients.

• Participate in regular team meetings and clinical consultations, receiving guidance and support from team leads to enhance therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will primarily consist of adults dealing with a spectrum of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mood-related issues. You will be expected to provide culturally responsive care that respects and understands the diverse backgrounds of each individual, as we believe all clients deserve an equitable approach to mental health treatment. The facility focuses on individuals who may also be at higher risk, prioritizing a supportive environment that fosters emotional resilience and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work, and possess a valid independent license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) in California.

• Minimum of one year of independent clinical experience providing mental health therapy.

• Comprehensive understanding of evidence-based practices, including substantial experience with cognitive-behavioral therapy.
