Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health by engaging in active listening and employing established diagnostic tools.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic assessments, integrating client feedback and evidence-based practices.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, both individual and group, to help clients navigate their mental health challenges, offering tools and coping strategies to foster resilience.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to address evolving needs and goals.

• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers as indicated, ensuring a continuum of care that encompasses both physical and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served at Mindset Mastery includes individuals coping with a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, and eating disorders. As a mental health counselor, you will work with diverse populations, ensuring culturally responsive care that reflects the unique values and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license in the state of New York as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and established evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Experience in individual and group therapy settings, demonstrating cultural responsiveness.

• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.

Compensation and Benefits\n
