Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand and evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, aimed at addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Deliver family therapy sessions to guide and assist parents and caregivers in creating a healthy and supportive home environment.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, facilitating referrals and sharing insights for the benefit of the patient’s treatment journey.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring quick and effective responses to critical situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain consistent and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights from your clinical observations to enhance our collective knowledge.

• Stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting children and adolescents dealing with a diverse range of mental health issues. You will work directly with young patients aged 5 to 18 years, along with their families, to address challenges related to emotional regulation, behavioral issues, and social interactions. Your work will play a vital role in helping these young individuals navigate their daily lives and achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Experience in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting a compassionate and child-centered approach.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ clinical experience in mental health counseling with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
