Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that individual needs and contexts are prioritized.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions, tailored to meet specific concerns and circumstances, utilizing techniques grounded in the latest psychological research.

• Manage documentation and billing processes, including the creation of individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms, ensuring all paperwork is completed within established deadlines.

• Develop crisis management plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention plans, and wellness strategies to aid patients in maintaining stable mental health.

• Create and implement comprehensive discharge plans to facilitate smooth transitions for patients exiting services.
\n
• Adhere strictly to current federal and state mental health regulations, as well as internal policies established by Radiant Life Counseling Center.
\n
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to keep skills and knowledge current in the ever-evolving field of mental health.
\n
• Courageously engage in case consultation and agency meetings to share insights, seek guidance, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
\n
• Ensure completion of all licensure requirements and mandatory training sessions to uphold the highest standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Our clients often face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more— necessitating a tailored and empathetic approach to therapy. Your role will be to foster a safe and welcoming environment, where clients feel empowered to express their challenges and work towards meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure as a mental health professional.

• Current licensure in the State of Arizona as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly with children and families, is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation and treatment planning is advantageous.
