Vitality Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Team. This full-time remote position is tailored for professionals who are passionate about supporting the mental health of children and adolescents. Work Environment\n

This role offers a fully remote setting, allowing you to provide valuable care from the comfort of your home while having the privilege of addressing a young patient population. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing established tools and methodologies to evaluate their emotional and developmental needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific challenges of each patient, incorporating family dynamics and cultural considerations.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster nurturing environments that support their children’s mental health.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure that care is coordinated, comprehensive, and diminishes barriers in mental health treatment.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention for children and adolescents in danger or distress.
\n
• Engage in educational outreach, informing patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities that promote best practices and ongoing learning.

• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in child and adolescent mental health to enhance therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Vitality Therapy Centre, your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges. This role requires an understanding and sensitivity to the unique pressures faced by young individuals, including issues related to family dynamics, school performance, and social interactions. Your contributions will directly influence the therapeutic journey of each patient, fostering a supportive and healing environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to younger populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with children and families.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health records and related patient management applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling, preferably specializing in child and adolescent therapy.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
