Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their unique needs and challenges.

• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies that incorporate developmental considerations, evidence-based practices, and family dynamics.

• Administer therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other methodologies suited to young patients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening relationships and enhancing familial support systems.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to integrate diverse perspectives into each child’s treatment plan.

• Provide crisis intervention during urgent mental health situations, maintaining a calm and structured approach to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain organized, compliant records and documentation in alignment with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The target population for this role consists primarily of children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 struggling with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Our approach prioritizes understanding each child within the context of their family and social environment, allowing for a well-rounded therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid and current professional license to practice in California (e.g., LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist).

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably focusing on child and adolescent populations.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders prevalent among youth, along with evidence-based treatment practices.
\n
• Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with both young patients and their families, employing a patient-centered approach.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proficiency in using relevant technology for telehealth services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
