Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methods tailored to the specific challenges faced by each client.

• Documenting patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our dedicated electronic health records system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base is diverse, ranging from individuals dealing with anxiety and depression to those facing more complex psychological issues. You will work with a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, each with unique backgrounds, experiences, and therapeutic needs. Your empathetic approach and expertise will play a crucial role in connecting with each client and fostering a safe space for healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active licensure in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of clinical experience specifically in mental health counseling, gained within a community health or clinical setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients from diverse backgrounds effectively.

• A commitment to tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the individual needs of each client, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in your approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in a community health environment and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices. Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
