Using secure telehealth platforms, you will conduct virtual sessions with clients, documenting progress and treatment outcomes using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR. Your contributions will directly enhance our clients' experience through seamless communication and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial consultations and assessments, documenting client history and presenting issues to guide treatment plans.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to inform individualized intervention strategies.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans addressing the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers including psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and social workers to coordinate holistic treatment approaches.

• Assist in managing client referrals to specialized services and resources, ensuring a continuum of care aligning with clients' needs.

• Implement preventative strategies to address potential setbacks and reinforce recovery efforts for clients.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges affecting their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve adults experiencing a range of mental health disorders, from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions such as PTSD and substance use issues. You will be expected to provide tailored interventions that incorporate cultural competence and sensitivity to individual client backgrounds, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and fostering successful outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW within California.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing your ability to effectively engage with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for maintaining accurate client records.
