This position allows you to work remotely, connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each child or adolescent.

• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans that consider not only the developmental stage of the child but also their family dynamics.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of child psychiatrists and mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to children and their families during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely response and effective management.

• Deliver educational resources and guidance to parents and guardians regarding mental health conditions and accessible community resources.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to remain current on best practices and enhance your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents, ages 5 to 18, who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will help guide these young individuals through their mental health journeys, ensuring they receive effective support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is essential.

• Proficiency in child and adolescent mental health disorders, alongside familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy to young clients.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
