Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews that assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Develop individualized treatment plans by collaborating with clients and their families, ensuring that interventions meet the unique needs of individuals and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to promote client engagement and recovery.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to enable holistic care and support for our clients.

• Manage client referrals to appropriate resources and providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate documentation of case management from initial consultation through discharge, adhering to best practices for electronic health records management.

• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to educate and support them in managing mental health challenges related to their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• A passing score on the relevant national examinations, including the NCE and/or NCMHCE.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or comparable platforms.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compassionately.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and includes a sign-on bonus.
