This full-time position will allow you to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to children and adolescents, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health challenges.

Work Environment\n

The position operates in a flexible remote setting, allowing you to balance your work and personal life while making a significant impact on the lives of our young patients. Although most sessions will be conducted virtually, you may occasionally visit our outpatient office in Chandler for team meetings and collaborative activities. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts aligned with patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each child or adolescent, utilizing standardized tools and a comprehensive interview process.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address developmental stages, family dynamics, and individual circumstances, adjusting as necessary based on progress or changing needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy, to effectively address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication and support within the family unit, empowering caregivers to foster a nurturing environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care that addresses both medical and psychological needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and manage acute mental health emergencies, equipping patients and families with immediate coping strategies and support.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to promote a proactive approach to mental wellness.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes comprehensively.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights, enhance collaboration, and maintain professional development through ongoing education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse group of children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. Our approach acknowledges the importance of family dynamics and community context in shaping the therapeutic journey, and as a therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding both patients and their families through treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and a robust foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy, particularly to children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build meaningful relationships with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with standard office software.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting focused on child and adolescent mental health is preferred. Previous work integrating family therapy into treatment plans or experience with evidence-based protocols will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
