This position is designed as a telehealth role, allowing your practice to transcend geographical limitations while maintaining personal connections with clients. As part of our dedicated team, you will have access to state-of-the-art telehealth technologies that facilitate secure and efficient patient interactions. Your work schedule is traditionally Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ histories and establish effective treatment pathways.

• Develop and administer customized treatment plans that aim at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Guide patients through processing their trauma by helping them to develop coping strategies and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to guarantee a holistic approach to patient care.

• Respond to crises by providing timely intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, resilience-building techniques, and the resources available for their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing trauma and its repercussions, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults. Understanding the diverse nature of trauma is essential, as you will work with a variety of clients, each with unique backgrounds and circumstances. Your skills will enable you to address complex emotional and psychological challenges, guiding them through their recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused care.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders along with an arsenal of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Crisis Management: Ability to maintain composure and calm in high-stress situations.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for documentation and communication.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to effectively work in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
