This full-time position focuses on providing quality mental health therapy to children and adolescents in a remote outpatient setting. Work Environment\n

This position will be remotely based, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while making a significant impact on the lives of young individuals. Although primarily remote, you will be part of a supportive outpatient office environment, occasionally engaging in face-to-face consultations, crisis interventions, and therapy sessions as needed. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and detailed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, considering developmental milestones and family dynamics that affect each patient.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to foster a supportive environment for their children’s mental health.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and holistic care for every patient.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support for children and adolescents facing mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights to enhance collective patient care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually enhance your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on children and adolescents ages 5 to 18, providing care tailored to their individual developmental stages and psychological needs. You will engage with young patients struggling with various mental health issues, offering a compassionate and understanding approach to therapy that empowers them to achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant setting, particularly working with children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic strategies effective for young clients.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering effective individual and family therapy.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with young patients and their families.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring smooth administrative operations while maintaining patient confidentiality.

• A collaborative spirit to engage in teamwork with a multidisciplinary approach.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a similar therapeutic environment, particularly one focused on child and adolescent mental health, is highly preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities specific to younger populations will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
