Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, assessing their mental, behavioral, and emotional health to inform their treatment plans.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery strategies tailored to individuals, couples, families, or groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to promote client engagement and healing.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
\n
• Manage referrals to other specialists as appropriate, ensuring seamless transitions in care.
\n
• Conduct follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding clients admitted to the hospital for stabilization.
\n
• Actively identify behaviors that may hinder recovery and work with clients and families to address these challenges.

• Provide guidance to families and caregivers on managing mental and behavioral health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults of all ages, each facing unique mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your compassionate approach will help provide safe spaces for clients to explore their feelings and work towards positive changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document and track client progress.

• In-depth understanding of addiction disorders and their impact on mental health.

• Familiarity with the best practices of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
