Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for new clients, documenting their history and current challenges accurately.

• Develop customized treatment and recovery plans that are tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to support diverse client needs.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress against treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.

• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records using systems such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Provide follow-up care for clients transitioning from inpatient hospital settings back to outpatient services, coordinating with involved medical professionals.

• Educate and empower family members and caregivers to navigate the challenges of mental health, creating strategies to promote a supportive home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related concerns. Your compassionate approach and in-depth knowledge of psychological, behavioral, and emotional health will significantly impact clients’ journeys toward recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling services.

• A deep understanding of the nuances of telehealth practices, including familiarity with electronic health record management.

• Experience working with clients dealing with co-occurring disorders and knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and intervention strategies.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices, especially concerning new developments in psychotherapy and treatment.
