Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and establish trust and rapport.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.

• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.

• Engage in regular case consultations and collaborative meetings with fellow professionals to discuss client progress and refine treatment strategies.

• Participate in ongoing education opportunities to enhance your knowledge of mental health practices and to stay updated on the latest research in the field.

• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve overall service delivery and program effectiveness on an organizational level.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will primarily involve working with individuals facing emotional challenges. This includes adults grappling with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma responses, and relationship difficulties. You will play an important role in fostering healing by providing a supportive environment where clients feel safe to express themselves and work through their issues with your guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating effectiveness in providing therapeutic support.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred to streamline administrative responsibilities.

• A background in providing telehealth services or familiarity with digital therapy platforms would be advantageous.

• Specialization in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• Annual salary range of $100,000 to $105,000, based on your caseload and the experience you bring to the position.
