Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and interviews with clients, ensuring thorough documentation from the first consultation to treatment conclusion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to establish precise diagnoses and suitable treatment plans.

• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to foster engagement and support.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.

• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, doctors, and social workers, to align on intervention strategies.

• Manage referrals to additional services when necessary to provide comprehensive care for clients.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental and behavioral challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• Pass the required exams, including the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for various client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
