Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, gathering essential information to document their mental health status from the initial consultation through the treatment process.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health by employing standardized assessment tools and utilizing clinical judgement to inform treatment strategies.

• Create personalized intervention and recovery plans that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups, drawing on the latest practices in mental health counseling.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities that resonate with clients' specific needs.

• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes throughout the duration of therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to formulate and execute comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Follow up with hospital staff and attending physicians for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York state.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards clients in therapeutic settings.

Our competitive salary package ranges between USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the importance of mental health professionals in our organization.
