Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with patients effectively. You will join a dynamic and innovative team of mental health professionals who work collaboratively to deliver comprehensive care. Our remote work setting allows for flexibility in your schedule while maintaining a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Some adjustments in your schedule may be necessary to respond to patient needs, ensuring they receive timely support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gain a nuanced understanding of each patient's situation, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to build rapport and trust.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and are tailored to honor the cultural and personal backgrounds of patients.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions—individually, with families, or in groups—aimed at addressing specific mental health challenges, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all aspects of patient care are cohesive and integrated.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, employing effective de-escalation strategies and support systems.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources that may assist in their recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and care plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in case conferences, team discussions, and ongoing cultural competency training to deepen your understanding and application of inclusive mental health practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in the state of Texas.

• Solid understanding of various mental health disorders, their treatments, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic settings.

• Ability to deliver individual and group therapy with a focus on inclusive methods that respect and incorporate clients' cultural contexts.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities, including the capacity to stay composed and intervene effectively during emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
