Work Environment\n

This position is a remote telehealth role, allowing you the flexibility to provide critical mental health services from the comfort of your own workspace. We understand the importance of work-life balance and ensure that our therapists engage with clients during normal business hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Working remotely, you will utilize technology and telehealth platforms to conduct assessments, sessions, and follow-ups, ensuring efficient communication and comprehensive care for all clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms and the impact on their daily life, including frequency, duration, and severity.

• Collaborate with clients in developing personalized treatment plans that take into account their goals, preferences, and needs, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective interventions tailored to mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their support networks about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them toward recovery.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and feedback sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to ensure an integrated approach to each client's holistic care.

• Keep informed about the latest research and practices in mood disorder treatment to refine and enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Proven expertise in therapeutic modalities for mood disorders, specifically the hands-on application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and a history of successful collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.

• Exceptional communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Preferred master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is desirable, especially using digital platforms for therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
