Work Environment\n

This full-time role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while providing essential services to clients through virtual consultations. You will be equipped with comprehensive technology support to facilitate smooth telehealth sessions, ensuring that clients receive continuous care without the hindrance of geographical limitations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, documenting all findings meticulously from the initial consultation through the duration of treatment.

• Design detailed treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to foster growth, healing, and resilience.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals efficiently.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses to create cohesive intervention strategies that support holistic client care.

• Identify and address any behaviors or challenges that may undermine the client's recovery, implementing proactive strategies for prevention.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers on managing mental health challenges within their environments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our telehealth platform allows for greater accessibility, enabling us to reach underserved communities and provide them with essential mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients through digital platforms.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and a commitment to client welfare.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a telehealth or remote setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.
\n
• An understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices as defined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Insight into the effects of prescribed medications and how they interact with mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
