Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, including screening for anxiety, depression, substance use, and other disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, incorporating evidence-based practices suitable for each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, allowing for convenient access and engagement in treatment.
\n
• Offer Psychoeducation to clients, guiding them through understanding their conditions and the therapeutic process.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality while navigating sensitive client information.

• Remain available for crisis intervention, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in high-stress situations.

At Turning Tides, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those facing challenges such as general anxiety, major depressive disorder, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will engage with individuals from varying backgrounds, which will require an understanding of cultural nuances and innovative therapeutic strategies. Your clinical experience will be vital in addressing the unique needs of each client, focusing on building a trusting alliance that fosters healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Active and valid licensure in New York as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A minimum of four years of post-licensure clinical experience in providing mental health counseling.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect with a wide variety of patients.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, employing inclusive and culturally responsive techniques.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and comfort with various digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
