Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize mindfulness-based interventions to guide clients in stress reduction, emotional regulation, and overall wellness improvement.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to identify their unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group mindfulness exercises, including guided meditations and breathing techniques, aimed at boosting self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Lead engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices and resilience strategies, supporting clients in cultivating coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach integrating mindfulness practices tailored to each client's needs.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Commit to ongoing professional development and personal mindfulness practice, attending workshops and trainings to deepen your expertise in MBSR.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other emotional difficulties. Many clients are looking for skills to enhance their mental resilience through mindfulness and self-care practices. Your role will focus on empowering them to achieve better emotional regulation and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Proven ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment through effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training and experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar mindfulness-based modalities is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
