Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, utilizing structured interview techniques and standardized assessment tools to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailoring interventions to meet the individual needs of clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues, promoting peer support and community engagement.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services to patients in acute distress, ensuring safety and stabilization during mental health emergencies.

• Develop educational resources and provide guidance to patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and connections to community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and a solid foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans tailored to individual patients.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
