This position is remote-based with options for hybrid work in our outpatient office located in Gilbert, AZ. The role operates primarily during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening hours required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions and recovery strategies.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions through motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, ensuring a patient-centered approach.

• Conduct engaging group therapy sessions that create a sense of community, shared learning, and mutual support among participants.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies and support during substance-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while utilizing our clinical electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with developments in the field of substance use disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing various substance use disorders, as well as their families, providing support and guidance through complex recovery journeys. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present unique challenges, requiring customized treatment approaches that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• Strong understanding of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing individual and group therapy in the context of addiction treatment.

• Familiarity with clinical EHR systems and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote counseling sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
