Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to care for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support during critical situations involving children and adolescents in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical requirements to support continuity of care and protect patient privacy.

• Actively engage in professional development by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing education initiatives.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent mental health to continuously improve practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically focuses on providing mental health services to children and adolescents facing various challenges, including developmental delays and family-related issues. The therapist will work closely with young patients from diverse backgrounds and varying clinical presentations. The role requires an understanding of the complexities of mental health issues in youth and the ability to tailor therapeutic strategies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably working with children and adolescents.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and family therapy effectively.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate compassionately with young clients and their families.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to team dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
