Work Environment\n

The role is 100% remote, offering you the flexibility to perform your duties from the comfort of your own space. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM PST. While the flexibility of remote work provides you with comfort and convenience, you will still be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that emphasizes collaboration through regular virtual meetings and check-ins, ensuring that you remain engaged with your colleagues and the clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, establishing personalized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal struggles.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals—including psychologists, social workers, and case managers—to deliver holistic, coordinated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s health.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, webinars, and workshops to stay current on evidence-based practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance clinical services within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and higher patient satisfaction scores.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients often come from various socioeconomic backgrounds and may include children, adolescents, adults, and families requiring support. You will have the opportunity to help clients develop coping strategies, work through trauma, and promote overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license/certification in California as a Mental Health Counselor (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in the mental health field, working directly with individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in trauma-informed care and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR) will be seen as an asset. Compensation and Benefits\n
