Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Family Systems Theory in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Create a safe and nurturing environment during therapy sessions, encouraging open communication and trust with patients and their families.

• In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, deliver family therapy sessions that support parents and caregivers in fostering healthy family dynamics.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, maintaining poise and professionalism during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant legal requirements.

• Regularly participate in team reflections and case discussions to share insights and improve care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is working with children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
