Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in active collaboration with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated treatment plans that address the mental health needs of our young patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring rapid and effective responses to mental health crises.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose conditions and determine optimal treatment strategies tailored to each child.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, documenting patient progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.

• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing insights to case consultations and engaging in continuous professional development and training.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health, integrating new knowledge into therapeutic practices.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and family therapy settings to support children, adolescents, and their families effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions focused on enhancing familial support systems and improving communication skills for nurturing environments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents who display various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral problems. You will work with diverse families, providing culturally competent and individualized therapy that recognizes each child's unique experiences, strengths, and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT is mandatory; applicants with associates licenses are unfortunately ineligible at this time.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
\n
• Competence in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and data management.
\n
• Ability to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment while also functioning independently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy to children and adolescents, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy.

• Annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 122,000, commensurate with experience and licensure.
