Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and thoughtful assessments to assess clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Lead engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to facilitate client progress.

• Deliver specialized support for clients dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), ensuring a structured therapeutic environment conducive to healing.

• Maintain organized case documentation compliant with ICD-9 standards, ensuring accurate records of therapy sessions and client progress.

• Collaborate with other health professionals including psychologists, social workers, and case managers to provide holistic care, fostering a well-rounded support system for clients.

• Engage with families in therapy sessions to enhance communication and strengthen familial relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on working with individuals facing a variety of emotional and behavioral struggles, particularly those needing assistance with PTSD, mood disorders, and stress management. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• An active and valid California mental health licensure (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the mental health field, with a focus on therapy and case management.

• Proficient knowledge of therapeutic methodologies, particularly CBT and ABA, with the capability to apply them effectively in client interactions.
