Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of children and adolescents, utilizing structured evaluation tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's developmental stage, family situation, and specific mental health concerns.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, guiding parents and caregivers on creating a supportive home environment conducive to healing.

• Collaborate closely with a team of experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals, ensuring a coordinated approach to every child's care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young individuals involved.

• Educate patients and families about their mental health conditions, discussing treatment options, community resources, and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapies relevant to children and adolescents.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting with a focus on child and adolescent therapy.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent developmental psychology and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with young clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
