Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality counseling services by assessing client needs and tailoring treatment plans that address individual goals, while fostering a satisfactory therapeutic relationship.

• Comply with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations pertaining to client care, ensuring that all services are compliant with program certifications and licensing requirements.

• Actively engage with team members to ensure constructive communication and coordination, promptly sharing insights and feedback on client progress.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation, including client notes and associated administrative records, in accordance with established standards.

• Support clients in daily living activities, encouraging their independence while being responsive to their current readiness and capability to manage responsibilities.

• Monitor client behaviors, moods, and safety, implementing agency protocols to ensure a secure environment and helping clients practice appropriate safety measures.
\n
• Teach clients essential life skills, such as meal planning and preparation, while providing ongoing support in developing these skills.
\n
• Assist clients with medication management, including reminders about prescriptions, ensuring compliance with dosages and storage requirements.
\n
• Provide necessary transportation as needed, whether through personal or agency vehicles, teaching clients how to utilize public transport effectively for attending appointments.

• Manage household supply inventories and assist clients with procurement to ensure their living conditions are conducive to their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be serving a diverse clientele, primarily focused on youth and young adults. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California—please note that applicants with an associate license are currently not eligible.

• Self-direction with the ability to work independently without supervision, demonstrating initiative in achieving client goals and maintaining professional standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, to assist with client documentation and internal reporting.

• A high level of comfort in managing a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple client cases and demands.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is advantageous, although not a requirement.
